Audiotexto é um termo técnico relacionado a Central de Atendimento Telefônico.


Sistema de processamento de voz que fornece um menu de escolhas. As opções são selecionadas ao se operar uma tecla ou selecionar um número no aparelho telefônico de tom, que reproduz um anúncio gravado para cada opção. Algumas péssoas incluem nessa definição as unidades de resposta audíveis (URA) de um modo geral.


Com o audiotexto, cada chamador que seleciona a mesma opção do menu ouve a mesma mensagem personalizadas com bases em informações colhidas a partir de uma base de dados externa.


O audiotexto é um recurso muito útil nos callcenters formais ou informais em que os operadors dedicam a maior parte de seu tempo a responder perguntas repetitivas (também pode ser útil numa Central de Atendimento Telefônico (call center) formal), com as que dizem respeito, por exemplo, a horários de filmes e shows, informações corporativas básicas (endereço de correspodência, número de fax e e-mail, etc),dados sobre o atendimento em museus, galerias, parques. Outra utilização possível é o fornecimento de dicas técnicas para questões muito frequentes.
