Sacrificium é o sexto álbum de estúdio da banda de metal sinfônico alemã Xandria[1]. O disco foi lançado em 2 de maio de 2014 pela gravadora Napalm Records[2][5][6].

Desenvolvimento |


Segundo a banda, o novo álbum iria "continuar a mesma direção e a pegada musical" de seu último álbum, o Neverworld's End, mas que "vão trazer ainda mais de tudo que as pessoas gostaram" sobre o assunto.


Logo antes da gravação começar, a banda teve que substituir a vocalista Manuela Kraller, que decidiu sair. Ela foi substituída pela cantora Soprano holandesa Dianne van Giersbergen[3], que também é vocalista da banda de metal progressivo, Ex Libris.[7][8] Este é também o primeiro álbum com Steven Wussow no baixo.
