As Brigadas Revolucionárias (BR)[1] foram uma organização portuguesa de esquerda, criada no início dos anos 70 por dissidentes do PCP, que defendia a luta armada como forma de derrubar aquilo que considerava ser um regime fascista e de conseguir a autonomia das colónias.


O primeiro alvo das BR foram as instalações da OTAN, em Setúbal, em 7 de Novembro de 1971. Após dois anos de propaganda política, as BR conseguiram criar pequenos grupos partidários dentro dos sindicatos, associações de trabalhadores e organizações católicas, que viriam a culminar na criação do Partido Revolucionário do Proletariado, em 1973. As suas ações bombistas terminaram em 25 de Abril de 1974 com a Revolução dos Cravos
