I went thru my local UPS store to send a pkg to a place in NC that buys dishes, crystal, and flatware. The I handed the UPS store the address and the clerk printed out the ticket. I opted for the insurance. A week later, I see that the pkg made it all the way from CA to NC, but is on it's way back. I call the recipient and they tall me that UPS will not deliver to them because there is a lawsuit between the recipient and UPS. The company (recipient) did not refuse my pkg. They did not ever get my pkg. I call UPS cs and was told that the recipient should have told me not to use UPS. I told CS that UPS should not have taken my money, taken my package, and then sent it on a 5000 mile roundtrip. UPS has a beef with the recipient, why drag me into it as well?
