Manuel Francisco do Nascimento Brito foi um empresário brasileiro, nascido em 02/08/1922, proprietário e diretor do Jornal do Brasil entre as décadas de 1950 até seu desligamento voluntário em 2002. Viveu até 15/02/2003, onde morreu as 07h40 em decorrência de complicações do acidente vascular cerebral que sofrera 24 anos atrás, durante as férias que passava na Venezuela. É reconhecido por ter construído um jornal cujo profissionalismo e ética tornaram-se marcas. Enquanto esteve sob sua direção, o Jornal do Brasil foi um dos maiores jornais do país.
