Tormentor é uma banda de black metal formada em 1986 em Budapeste, Hungria. Gravaram seu primeiro álbum em 1988, mas só foram capazes de lançá-lo após a derrocada do comunismo. O grupo separou-se em 1991, retornando dez anos depois para o lançamento de Recipe Ferrum.[1]
